Pleasant Grove (24-12, 7-2) plays in its final regular-season game as it hosts Pittburg on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. It will be Senior Night for the Hawks.
Texas High wins in three
Texas High improved its overall record to 25-9 after taking down district foe Mount Pleasant, 25-21, 25-22, 25-13.
Treyaunna Rush led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 16 points, while adding 14 kills and 14 assits to her totals.
Katelyn Jordan finished with six points and 14 assists, and Olivia Lowa added 13 kills in THS' win.
Shakeria Webb propelled the junior varsity team as Texas High posted a 25-23, 24-26, 25-16, victory over Mount Pleasant.
In the ninth-grade contest, Texas High swept Mount Pleasant, 25-19, 26-24.
THS' Bailey Hawkins finished with 12 points.
L-E tops Pitt
Daycoria Meadows had 19 points, six kills and six blocks as Liberty-Eylau cruised past Pittsburg, 25-20, 25-18, 25-20.
Taylor Crabtree added 16 points for the Lady Leopards, and Keeley Norris finished with 13 kills.
Liberty-Eylau's Derrica Henderson had five points, four kills and four blocks.
Queen City tops Lady Hornets
Jacie Lance scored 20 points and paced Queen City to a 25-20, 14-25, 25-20, 25-14, win over Hooks.
Jessica Jones finished with 21 kills for the Lady Bulldogs, and Peyton Beckham had 36 assists.
Lady Hornets' Lexie Frachiseur had 16 kills and Kenley Kyles recorded 27 assists.
Queen City's Macey Belote ended the contest with seven blocks.
Redwater sweeps Pewitt
OMAHA-NAPLES, Texas-It wasn't easy, but host Paul Pewitt came away with a 27-25, 25-22, 26-24, against Redwater.
Lady Brahmas' Brelee Lawings led all scorers with 13 points as teammates Ebbony Cobbins and Lydia Makowiecki added eight and seven, respectively.
Cobbins also had a team-high 10 kills in the win.
Redwater's Bella Fernandez and Bethanee Calicott each had seven points.
Kenzie Traylor finished with 21 assists for Paul Pewitt.
Maud falls on the road
DETROIT, Texas-Kora Henderson had 23 points for Detroit in their 25-21, 25-10, 26-24, victory over Maud.
Haley Yates scored 12 points for the Lady Cardinals, while Riley Murphy had 14 kills.
Maud's Harley Dear finished with 25 assists.
In junior varsity action, Detroit also took that contest with a 25-11, 25-8, win over Maud.
Taylor Pate had seven points for the young Lady Cardinals.
Avery defeats James Bowie
AVERY, Texas-James Bowie found itself to be competitve in two sets, but couldn't quite pull off a win as it suffered a 21-25, 11-25, 23-25, defeat to Avery.
Rachel Norman had eight kills in the Lady Pirates' loss, while teammate Emily Latham accumulated 13
assists.
