ATLANTA, Texas-Pleasant Grove's junior varsity defeated Atlanta, 33-20, Thursday in a football game.
Max Ebarb had 2 rushing touchdowns and threw a 53-yard TD pass to John Fields for the Rabbits. Jacorian Fields had a 2-point conversion run.
Jordan Prignit made an interception, Ramero Williams and Caleb Coleman each forced a fumble, and Jordan Stiger and Degregory King each had a fumble recovery for Atlanta.
Caleb Hilton had a 53-yard touchdown, another rushing TD, and a 2-point conversion run as Atlanta's 9th grade defeated Texas High 36-6
at Rabbit Stadium.
Hamilton had a 60-yard run to set up a Damien Collins 12-yard score. Collins also had a 2-point conversion run. Tyrell King ran 30 yards for a touchdown for Atlanta and tacked on the 2-point run afterwards.
King and Trey Adams each caused a fumble and recovered a fumble for the Rabbits.
Dragons' JV defeat Lions
NEW BOSTON, Texas-Peyton Davis had three touchdowns for Redwater as it defeated New Boston, 26-12, in a junior varsity contest.
Josh Packard had a 61-yard TD run for the Lions and threw a 17-yard pass to Gavin Rawls.
Brian Reed and Gave McCarty each recovered a fumble for New Boston.
Bulldogs edged by Rebels
ORE CITY, Texas-Adorian Booth scored on a 2-yard touchdown run for Queen City's junior varsity early in the game, but Ore City nudged the Bulldogs, 16-14.
Vonte Frank caught a 27-yard pass from Tallon Boone for Queen City, and teammate Drake Moore had a 2-point conversion run.
The Bulldogs (5-2) host Daingerfield Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
