Lady Leopards sink Pirates

Myah Hurd kept the scorekeeper busy as she poured in 26 points, and Liberty-Eylau dispatched Pittsburg, 29-24, in an eighth grade A basketball game at the Rader Dome on Monday.

Haven Johnson scored 10 points to lead the Lady Leopards' seventh grade A team to a 37-6 thumping of the Lady Pirates.

Tearnin Pettit scored eight points for Liberty-Eylau.

 

Lady Backs 8th grade victorious

Keniyah Bryant lit up the nets for 11 points as North Heights defeated Magnolia, 33-24, in an eighth grade game at Razorback Gym.

Seaira Watson scored 10 points for the Lady Backs.

Janna Dupree had six points in the seventh game, but Magnolia won the seventh grade game, 18-8.

 

Magnolia edges Lady Backs frosh

MAGNOLIA, Ark.-Jamiya Montgomery scored 11 points but it was not enough for Arkansas High's freshmen to overcome Magnolia, 28-23.

 

Brahmas, Lions split

NEW BOSTON, Texas-Romyane McChester swished in 12 points as New Boston defeated Paul Pewitt in an eighth grade A game, 24-21.

Jailyn Smith scored 10 points for the Lady Brahmas.

Morgan Hill lit up the nets for 10 points, and Paul Pewitt won the seventh grade A game, 23-19.

Krysta Page paced the Lady Lions with eight points.

 

Redwater goes 3-1 against Hooks

REDWATER, Texas-Avery Waldrop scorched the nets for 14 points as Redwater won the eighth grade A game, 30-13, over Hooks.

Brooklyn Adamson scored eight points, and the Lady Dragons won the eighth grade B game, 22-8.

Karley Latham had the hot hand as she poured in 17 points in Redwater's 31-17 victory in the seventh grade A game.

Hooks won the seventh grade B game, 6-2.

 

Lady Rabbs win two games

ATLANTA, Texas-Sabrina Young scored eight points to lead Atlanta's eight grade A team to a 33-16 victory over Red Lick.

Emma Henard had six points for the Lady Mustangs.

Kymberly Sheppard poured in 15 points, and the Lady Rabbits won the seventh grade A game, 22-18.

Olivia Perry and Zoe Vanderhoof each had eight points for Red Lick.

 

QC, DeKalb A teams split

DEKALB, Texas-Coriana Fulbright shot in nine points, and DeKalb won the eighth grade A game, 33-16, over Queen City.

Aubrie Kiser scored five points for the Lady Bulldogs.

Jamecia Cook and Alex Larry scored four points each as Queen City edged the Lady Bears in the seventh grade A game, 14-13.

Josie Beckham swished in four points, and Queen City won the seventh grade B game, 12-8.

 

Atlanta sweeps Red Lick

RED LICK, Texas-Kameron Dickinson ripped the cords for 20 points as Atlanta's eighth grade A team defeated Red Lick, 38-25.

Ethan Bobo paced the Mustangs with 14 points.

Larandian Dowden scored 15 points, and the Rabbits won the seventh grade A game, 33-20.

Caleb Hackleman had nine points for Red Lick.

Marquavion Owens scored five points as Atlanta won the seventh grade B game, 19-9.

Brady Greathouse had a game-high seven points for the Mustangs.

 

Hornets earn four wins

HOOKS, Texas-Matthew Hays swished in 19 points to lead Hooks' eighth grade A team to a 37-16 romp over Redwater.

Kamren Stiger scored 10, and the Hornets won the eighth grade B game, 22-15. Cort Tittle scored four points for the Dragons.

Carveion Johnson put up 15 points in Hooks' 54-16 rout in the seventh grade A game. Teammate Keyshawn Walls contributed 10 points.

Brody Johnson paced Redwater with six points.

Tyler Grove sand Noah Jones each scored four points as the Hornets won the seventh grade B game, 8-5.

Ethan Shumate had a team-high three points for the Dragons.

 

Lions go 3-1 against Brahmas

OMAHA-NAPLES, Texas-Kaiden Hall scored eight points, but New Boston fell to Paul Pewitt, 52-25, in the eighth grade A game.

Logan Fields and Francis Mesa each scored eight points, and the Lions routed the Brahmas in the eighth grade B game, 22-2.

Jordan Harrison swished in 10 points in a 36-10 Lions win in the seventh grade A game.

Dakota Rains shot in six points as New Boston won the seventh grade B game, 15-10.
