It's better to learn lessons at the beginning of the season, instead of letting a lesson end your season.

Little Rock Christian Academy (9-0) defeated Arkansas High (6-5) in a intraconference game at Razorback Gym, 68-37.

"I actually feel really good, I told the girls that this game could go two ways," Arkansas High head coach Dulincia Keener said. "It can go really good and we can learn from this, or it can go bad and we start going south. We have a long season ahead of us. We have three more months of basketball left.

"Hopefully, they really learn from this game. I wanted them to see a really good team that's actually in our conference, Class 5A. It's good for them to see a a really good team within our conference and know what we need to work on going forward."

Reagan Bradley led the Lady Warriors with a team-high 18 points and teammate Wynter Rogers chipped in 16 points.

Arkansas High senior Cedriana Daniels was a bright spot for the Lady Backs. Daniels ended with a game-high 20 points and nine rebounds.

"Cedriana definitely did a lot of great things for us tonight," Keener said. "I'm happy she went up strong offensively. She also had four or five putbacks for us on the offensive end. That's a lot of progress that she has taken and that's what we need from her."

With an abundant lead, Little Rock Christian began to insert reserve players in waves to keep fresh legs.

The Warriors kept their foot on the gas heading into the locker rooms.

"Our bench players have to understand our style of play," Keener said. "We want to play fast and we want to be scrappy. We want to get on people and make them feel uncomfortable. I have to throw people in and out. We have to understand that."

LRCA lead AHS after the first period, 30-8.

The Warriors opened the game with a double-digit from the opening tip and didn't look back.

LRCA was able to control the pace of the game in the first quarter.

The Warriors were able to control the pace and also created Arkansas High turnovers.

"There's a lot of discipline and hard work that we need to correct," Keener said. "Tonight they see that we just got outworked. We shouldn't have lost by that much. I want this game to be a motivation tool and for us to keep getting better."

LRCA defeated Arkansas High in the junior varsity game, 37-28.
