SIMMS, Texas-James Bowie had three players in double-figures, but it wasn't enough to overcome Rivercrest's second-half surge.
Rivercrest went into halftime with just a 28-26 lead, but came out in the third and fourth quarters to outscore the Pirates by 13 en route to a 71-56 victory on Saturday.
Landon Crebtree scored a team-high 15 points for the Pirates, and teammates Jonathan Cody scored 13, including three 3-pointers, and Dalton McBride added 11.
James Bowie (4-10) will be back in action on Tuesday when it travels to play Linden-Kildare.

DAINGERFIELD, Texas-Hughes Springs varsity boys had problems stopping Reggie Jeter as the Tigers recorded a 17-point win at home on Friday night.
Daingerfield's Jeter scorched the nets for a game-high 20 points, while Michael Reeves and Trevante Royal added another 13. Jeter and Royal also connected on all of the Tigers' five 3-pointers.
Brennan Dowell and Chandler King both recorded a team-high 14 points a piece for the Mustangs, and Tradarian Craver finished with 10.
Daingerfield (5-7) will host Redwater on Tuesday.
