Liberty-Eylau beats North Lamar

PARIS, Texas-Taylor Crabtree scored a game-high 17 points as Liberty-Eylau defeated North Lamar, 45-33, in a District 14-4A girls varsity basketball game Tuesday.

McKayla Figueroa led the Pantherettes with seven points.

Tamara Norris scored a game-high 11 points to lead the Lady Leopards' junior varsity to a 25-15 win.

Liberty-Eylau (15-10, 2-0) plays at Atlanta at 4:30 p.m. on Friday in a district matchup.

Texas High 77, Mount Pleasant 42

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas-Kerrighan Dunn ripped the cords for 20 points as Texas High rolled past Mount Pleasant.

Antonia Porter finished with 19 points for the visiting Lady Tigers, and teammate Amiyah Rone helped out with 10.

Jessica Bates had a team-high 19 points for the host Lady Tigers.

Ashlyn Stiger scored 17 points to lead Texas High's junior varsity to a 55-36 win. Teammate Nazaya Williams put up 14 points, and Amari Morrison added 11.

Kristen Brown paced the host Tigers with 16.

Texas High (17-5, 4-1) hosts Greenville at 5 p.m. on Friday.

ATLANTA, Texas-Sha'Nequa Henry lit up the nets for a game-high 29 points to lead the Lady Hawks to a District 14-4A win.

Madeline Haak poured in 22 points for Pleasant Grove.

Kinsey Kelly scored a team-high 15 points for the Lady Rabbs. Teammate Sheveonia Smith had 11 points, and Keyona Easter contributed 10.

Pleasant Grove (13-6, 2-0) plays at Pittsburg at noon on Saturday.

Lady Hawks top Henderson

Sophia Tuttlebee booted in Pleasant Grove's first goal off an assist from Haley Hearn, and the Lady Hawks defeated Henderson, 3-1, in a varsity girls soccer match at Hawk Stadium.

Lauren Hughes scored a goal off an assist from Katie Hutcheson for Pleasant Grove.

Delia Tuttlebee legged in the last Hawk goal off a pass from Rebekah Gilliam.

Pleasant Grove takes on John Tyler in the Hallsville tournament on Thursday.
