Texas High collected three superlatives on the 2017 All-District 16-5A volleyball team, including a Most Valuable Player honor earned by Texas High's Treyaunna Rush.
Lady Tigers' Kaitlyn Cross and Melissa Hardy earned their stripes as well, as Cross was voted Blocker of the Year and Hardy named co-Coach of the Year, alongside Justin Maness of Sulphur Springs.
Keily Castanon represented Mount Pleasant on the superlative list with Libero of the Year honors.
Like Texas High, Sulphur Springs also had three superlatives, with Kaylee Jefferson earning Offensive Player of the Year and teammate Erika Van Benthem getting the Newcomer of the Year nod.
Hallsville's Ashley Jones received the Setter of the Year honor and Addison McDermott was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
Texas High's Vicki Willis and Olivia Lower were first-teamers as well as Mount Pleasant's Castanon.
