QUEEN CITY, Texas-Marlee Durmon had four hits, including a triple, for Queen City during a 13-3 win over DeKalb Friday.
The Lady Bulldogs scored six runs in the second to take a commanding 9-1 lead and were up 11-1 after four.
The Lady Bears scored twice in the fifth, as did QC to complete the run-rule.
Along with Durmon's four hits-of the Bulldogs' 15 in the game-Chey Hill, Jayce Calloway, Jayley Stringer, and Emily Maxwell each had multiple hits for Queen City.
Kaci Thomas scattered seven hits in the circle for the win. She struck out four and walked one.
Kassidy Barrett fanned four while taking the pitching loss. Barrett, Railey Rankin, and Kadyn Clark had multiple hits for Dekalb.
Redwater 5, Hooks 4
REDWATER, Texas-Bailey O'Bannon ripped a two-run single in the sixth inning to help lift Redwater to a win over Hooks.
Keeley Wilbur had three hits for the Lady Dragons, Savannah Corbell belted a home run in the first, and Corbell, O'Bannon, Sara Easley and Riley Elliott had two hits each. Bethanee Calicott picked up the pitching win and had eight strikeouts.

NASHVILLE, ArkansasTyler Hanson had three doubles and 3 RBI, and J.R. Middleton also had three hits and 2 RBI to lead the Scrappers (9-2) to a big win over the Panthers (8-4).
The Scrappers got two runs in the first, seven in the second and four in the third, and were never really threatened in this game.
Panthers' pitcher Brett Bond was chased in the second inning in favor of Cody Flowers, but it wasn't a good day for Panthers' pitchers as they allowed 13 hits, compared to three allowed by Scrappers' pitcher Tristian Jamison, as he improved to 2-1 on the season.
Alex Hill had a triple and scored the lone Panther run. Jordan Hill and Brett Bond also had a hit each for the Panthers in a losing effort.
