Tigers pummel North Lamar

PARIS, Texas-Cameron Radney pitched four innings, gave up a run on four hits and earned the win as Texas High run-ruled North Lamar, 13-1, on Friday.

Chris Sutton came in to pitch for the Tigers in the fifth inning and made the rare feat of striking out four batters in one frame.

Dakota Turner went 3 for 4 with two RBIs, Chris Sutton was 2 for 3 with two RBIs and three runs scored, and Chris Lyles was 2 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored for Texas High.

The Tigers' Conner Allred smacked an RBI double and scored a run, while teammate Cole Christen was 1 for 3 with two RBIs.

Texas High (13-2, 1-0) plays at Sulphur Springs at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
