Colgate Country Showdown
The Colgate Country Showdown preliminary round hosted by KSSN held at the Rev Room, Saturday August 23.
Pleasant Grove senior Madeline Haak was Co-Offensive Player of the Year along with sophomore Keyona Easter of Atlanta and Paris' Kiaunsha Jackson.
Summer Andrews of North Lamar was named Defensive Player of the Year, and Paris' Quiniya Savage earned Newcomer of the Year.
Liberty-Eylau and Pleasant Grove each had two players named to the first team.
Senior Kaliyah Thompson and junior Skylier Bailey represented the Leopards on the first team.
Monique Walker, a senior, and Sha'Nequa Henry, a sophomore, earned first team honors for the Lady Hawks.
Atlanta junior Sheveonia Smith was named to the first team.
