Arkansas High and Liberty-Eylau clashed on the diamond at Razorback Field in a crosstown non-conference doubleheader Monday.

The Leopards jumped on the board first with three runs in the first inning.

Dylan Adcock drove in Dante Valenti in the third and also stole home plate, to tie the game at 3 all.

Trey Hodge led the Leopards at the dish with two hits and a RBI.

Marzavian Riles, Blake Carter, Kevin Garza and Dakota Mller each scored runs for L-E.

Game 2

The nightcap between AHS and L-E began as a pitching duel, which lasted extra innings.

Riles put the Leopards on the board first with his RBI double in the top of the second.

Hog senior Austin Nix started on the bump for AHS. Nix went four, gave up three hits and two runs.

Parker Goodman started on the hill for the Leopards. Goodman gave up one run in two innings worth of work.

Arkansas High reach the board first when Cameron Clark was hit by a pitch, driving in Nix.

Matthew Mobley added to the Hog lead with an infield single, driving in Dylan Adcock.

Gage Gore stole home plate for AHS on a wild pitch, while Wren Wiliams drove in two runs to give the Hogs a favorable 5-0 lead in the second inning.

Hodge drove in Moore to cut into Hogs lead for the Leopards, 5-3.

Blake Carter drove in two runs at the top of the 6th inning to tie the Hogs, 5-5.

Hog slugger Nick Vaughn hit a walk-off single with the bases loaded to break the tie in the bottom of the 9th.
