"Prairiland is a fundamentally sound ball club. They don't beat themselves. We plan to stick with our gameplan. We've been playing well defensively, even being as banged up as we've been. Other guys have stepped up and it's like we haven't missed a beat."

COACH'S COMMENTS: Queen City's David Kennedy-"They're the 1 seed out of their district. I've been told they swing the bats pretty well and they have good arms. We have to show up, pitch well and have quality trips at the plate. If we can do those things, I like our chances in this series."
"If our pitchers go out and pitch the way that they're capable of pitching, I'll take my two guys over anyone in the area."

COACH'S COMMENTS: Linden-Kildare's John Roberts-"I don't know too much about them. I know it's playoff time and in a one-game series, you have to take care of your business no matter who you're playing. Our pitchers are going to have to throw strikes and we have to put the ball in play when we're at the plate. We have to do what we do well, in order to advance. We pride ourselves in being about pitching and defense. Stringing together hits and trying to put up crooked numbers is something we will continue to strive for."
