HOPE, Ark.-Danya Muldrow, who finished with eight points, completed a traditional 3-point play with six seconds left as Hope edged New Boston, 57-56, in a varsity girls' basketball game on Friday.
Mariuna McClenton paced the Lady Bobcats with 14 points, while teammate Ranayzia Miller had 11.
Grace Duffer had a game-high 19 points, including four treys, for the Lady Lions, and Carlee Ratcliff poured in 16 points.
Chloe Davis contributed 11 points for New Boston.

McLeod falls in two games
AVINGER, Texas-Trevor Deel and Blake Williams each scored 10 points for the Longhorns, but they fell to Christian Homeschool Athletic Association of Mount Pleasant, 55-47, in a varsity boys' basketball game in the Avinger tournament.
Deel lit up the nets for 14 points against Avinger, but McLeod was edged, 47-46.
Tyler Williams ripped the cords for 13 points for the Longhorns.
Saltillo 52, Queen City 36
QUEEN CITY, Texas-Saltillo jumped out to a 26-11 halftime lead and coasted to a 52-36 victory over Queen City in boys action in the Bulldogs' gymnasium.
It was the season opener for both teams.
Colton Davis led Queen City with eight points and Damir Rascoe added six. Chris Boekhorst topped all scorers with 27 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
The Bulldogs won the junior varsity game, 41-15, with Derrick Alexander scoring eight points and Kenyen Washington seven for the winners. Jake Holloway scored eight for Saltillo.
Queen City will host Daingerfield on Tuesday, with action starting at 5 p.m.

Jakob Martin lit up the nets for 21 points as the Warriors edged Fouke in a competitive contest at Wallace Edgar Arena.
The Warriors saw their 6-point halftime lead cut to one point at the end of the third quarter. They managed to hold off the Panthers and take the victory in front of their home crowd.
The Panthers had two players in double-figures, Kanan Garrett with 18 and Trent Hale with 10.
