REDWATER, Texas-Malcolm Brown scored touchdowns on runs of 30 and 23 yards to propel Redwater's junior varsity over Hooks, 27-12, in a football game Thursday at Dragon Stadium.
Jonathan Ketchum scored the first TD for the Dragons on a 13-yard run, and teammate Rolan Smith tacked on a 24-yard scoring dash.
Dalton Robertson ran in a 2-point conversion and kicked an extra point for Redwater.
Skeet Roberts made two interceptions for the Dragons, and teammate Carson Bowman also had a theft.
Redwater's Lathan Morgan made a big fourth-down tackle, recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and was named a defensive standout by his coaches.
