Hailey Sutton led the Lady Hornets with 15 service points and teammate Eve Johnson added 13 service points with 35 assist.
Alyssa Whitten contributed 10 service points and 25 assists for Hooks, while teammate Emma Farquhar added 20 kills with 20 digs.
Alley Jefferson ended the night with 25 digs for the Hornets and teammate Abby Russ added 15 kills.
Avery defeated Hooks in the junior varsity game, 25-14, 25-21.
Natalie Whitten finished as the high point for the Hornets.
Lady Rabbs fall to Lady Leopards
ATLANTA, Texas - Atlanta fell to Liberty-Eylau in their varsity volleyball opener, 17-25, 14-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-17.
Charity Henderson led the Lady Rabbs with 11 service points and teammate Candace Nuckels added nine points.
Keyona Easter finished with seven points, while teammate Destinee Wells swatted in 10 points.
Atlanta's junior varsity squad defeated Liberty-Eylau, 25-21, 23-25, 25-17.
Presley Vanghan led the Lady Rabbs with 12 service points and teammate DeAsiah Alexander added 11 service points.
