LAST YEAR: Pleasant Grove defeated Paris, 30-10, at Wildcat Stadium.

GAME FACTS: The Hawks play in District 6-4A, Division II, and the Wildcats are in District 7-4A, Division I.

COACH'S COMMENTS: Pleasant Grove's Josh Gibson—"I feel really good about our football team. We have a strong program and a strong team this year. We are excited about the season. We will need to play a clean game, not turn the ball over, play physical, not have a lot of penalties, and execute in special teams.

"Paris is really athletic and always have been. They are running the same offense that we do, the Wing-T. It is going to be like a mirror image. They went three rounds deep in last year's playoffs. They are one of the top teams that we will play all year.

"Getting to play again is something that we have looked forward to. It has been a long time since the state championship game. Everyone is fired up about the season. We have worked hard in the off season, in the summer, and had a really good fall camp. We are ready to compete. We get to do that in front of an awesome crowd. It's going to be fun."
