TMS girls go 3-1 against Lady Mavericks

Delana Augustus lit up the nets for 12 points as Texas Middle School defeated Marshall, 34-24, at the Tiger Center.

Shay Boykin swished in nine points and the Lady Tigers won the eighth grade B game, 18-2.

Kailyn Williams ripped the cords for 14 points in a 31-15 TMS win in the seventh grade A game.

Lyric Curtis had three points for the Tigers, but Marshall won the seventh B game, 26-8.

 

Lady Hawks sweep Lady Backs

Mackenzie Williams and Rose Anderson each poured in eight points as Pleasant Grove's eighth grade A team defeated North Heights, 42-23.

Samya Flowers had a game-high 10 points for the Lady Backs.

Kadence Neal swished in 10 points as Pleasant Grove rolled to a 23-3 win in the eighth grade B game.

Madison Carpenter and Kelsey Thompson each kept the scorekeeper busy as they scored 10 apiece in PG's 47-9 rout in the seventh grade A game.

Kadiya Curry scored five points for North Heights.

Briana Jackson scored six points to lead the Hawks' seventh grade B team to a 16-3 victory.

 

AHS falls to Lakeside

Arkansas High's freshman girls squad fell to Lakeside Monday, 45-11.

Yavunna Foster led the Lady Backs with four points and teammate Lamya Solomon added three points.

Keonnie Strickland and Jadin Duncan contributed two points apiece for AHS.
