Hornets power way past Bulldogs

QUEEN CITY, Texas-Three different players scored in double digits to lead Hooks over Queen City, 60-40, on Tuesday.

Benji Johnson led all scorers with 16 points for the Hornets. Riley Hamilton contributed 13 points, while Leonard Brice added 12.

Easton Fincher swished in 12 points for the Bulldogs.

 

Redwater 43, Paul Pewitt 42

REDWATER, Texas-Nick Long hit a go-ahead putback with 15 seconds left in the fourth quarter, and Redwater edged Paul Pewitt.

Parker Gravitt scored a game-high 12 points for the Dragons, while teammate Peyton Davis added 10.

Redwater (13-11, 4-1) plays at Hooks on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Blake Williams scored 13 points, and teammate Kobe Bonner added 10 for McLeod (22-6, 4-1).

LaDavian Johnson paced Linden-Kildare with 19 points, while Chase Bynum added 14.

DEKALB, Texas-Alex Clark's 19 points helped lead DeKalb over New Boston Tuesday night.

Tyrone Proby added 14 points for the Bears, while teammates AJ Burgin contributed 13 points and Logan Corbitt poured in 10 points.

Jamin Powell led the Lions with a team-high 17 points.

 

North Lamar 64, Liberty-Eylau 63

PARIS, Texas-Menderiz Gray's 24 points propelled North Lamar over Liberty-Eylau in a nail-biter.

Kentraile Atkins led the Leopards with 15 points and teammate Daveoncha Meadows finished with 14 points.

Isaiah Cross ended the game with nine points for Liberty-Eylau, while teammate Howard Barron added eight points.
