Texas High freshman Lauren Allread earned Most Valuable Offensive Player on the 16-5A All-District softball team.
Mount Pleasant's Jordan Dickerson and Sulphur Springs pitcher Bailey Haggerty were named Co-District MVP.
Sulphur Springs added three more superlatives in Most Valuable Defensive Player Sierra Smith, Newcomer of the Year Addison Caddell, and Coach of the Year David Carrillo.
Pitcher of the Year went to Mount Pleasant's Averie Ayers, Lindale's London Reue was Catcher of the Year, and Royce City's Kasey Kuyrkenall rounded out the superlatives with Freshman of the Year.
Pitcher Linsey Egger, first baseman Kaitlyn Cross, and shortstop Bailey Groom were each named to the All-District First Team for Texas High.
Sulphur Springs had five first teamers in catcher Brinklee Driver, third baseman Kate Womack, shortstop Kelsey Wallace, utility player Abbi Baier, and center fielder Sadie Stroud.
Second baseman Carson Zachry, utility player Maggie Lilly, and left fielder Tatyana Wilkerson represented Mount Pleasant on
the first team.
Lindale had four players on the first team: pitcher Hannah Knox, shortstop Jodi DeHart, left fielder Dee Saunders, and third baseman Ellie Watkins.
Rounding out the first team from Royce City were designated player Lauren Skinner, center fielder Haley Butler, left fielder Cassidi Mullen, and first baseman/pitcher Brooke Johnson.
Catcher Kylie Spriggs was named to the second team for Texas High.
