During the frame, Pleasant Grove batted around. Hannah Snyder hit a single, Kaylee Kelley ripped an RBI double, Bre Jones doubled, Emily Hilton singled, and Kristin Key and Maddie Horn each walked.
Up 9-6 going into the final frame, the Lady Backs scored five runs to pad their lead, 14-6.
Kaitlyn Fortenberry singled with an out, and Adison Wright singled for Arkansas High (3-5-1). Jordyn Standley hit a Texas-Leaguer to score Fortenberry.
Ajahi Cheatham smacked an RBI double to right center to make it 11-6. Shelby Robinson followed with an RBI single.
Cheatham scored on an error, and Robinson scored on a passed ball to give AHS a 14-6 lead.

Standley led the Lady Backs as she went 4 for 4 with 4 RBI and a walk. Arkansas High's Foretenberry was 4 for 5 with four singles, Sydnee Blackwell doubled, Wright was 3 for 4 with a triple, Cheatham was 3 for 5 with 3 RBI, and Robinson was 3 for 4 with three singles.
Lexi Snyder was the winning pitcher, threw seven innings, gave up 19 hits, and walked five.
Fortenberry took the loss, threw 6 1-3 innings, gave up 21 hits, struck out three, and walked four.
