PG, Liberty-Eylau earn two superlatives each

Pleasant Grove and Liberty-Eylau earned two superlatives apiece on the 15-4A, All-District girls varsity basketball team.

Shanequa Henry was named Most Valuable Player and Marsha Cowling and staff were Coaching Staff of the Year for the Lady Hawks.

Skylier Bailey was the Offensive MVP, while teammate Daycoria Meadows was the Defensive MVP for the Lady Leopards.

Tyler Green, of Pittsburg, was named Newcomer of the Year.

Kyla Coston and Eliyah Howard were named to the first team for Liberty-Eylau.

Keshawn Davis was chosen to the first team for Pleasant Grove.

Rounding out the first team were Malaysia Burns of Pittsburg, McKenzie Mitchell of North Lamar, Kiaunsha Jackson of Paris, and Carol Croom of Paris.

Ashanti Levingston, Maiya Ware, and Asia Lloyd made the second team for the Hawks.

Keeley Coston and Bryana Block earned second-team honors for the Leopards.
