Pleasant Grove 8th-grade girls rout Pittsburg, 38-5

PITTSBURG, Texas - Madison Carpenter's 10 points helped lead Pleasant Grove over Pittsburg in their eighth-grade game, 38-5.

PG won the second eighth grade game against Pittsburg, 21-2.

Fallon Anthony and Shalom Ezihe each scored five points apiece for the Lady Hawks.

Pleasant Grove beat Pittsburg in the first seventh-grade contest, 27-9.

Shelby Glover led the Hawks offensively with 14 points and teammate Kenasia Henry poured in 10 points.

PG defeated Pittsburg in the second seventh-grade game, 28-2.

Morgan Forand led the Hawks with eight points.

 

Red Lick sweeps Hooks

RED LICK, Texas - Olivia Perry's 10 points helped pace Red Lick over Hooks in their eighth-grade girls game, 22-19.

Mollie Fisher added six points for the Lady Mustangs.

Kinsley Birdwell led the Lady Hornets with eight points and teammate Addyson Hale contributed six points.

Red Lick defeated Hooks in their seventh-grade game, 24-6.

Avenly Bingham led the Mustangs with 12 points and teammate Addisyn Gildon added eight points.

Anna Beth Black finished with six points for Red Lick.

Maligiah Godfry ended with four points for Hooks.

 

Queen City tops Pewitt

OMAHA-NAPLES, Texas - Mallory Stringer's 16 points led Queen City over Paul Pewitt in their eighth-grade game, 47-12.

Jennalee McCullum led the Lady Brahmas with four points.

Queen City defeated Pewitt in the seventh-grade game, 14-6.

Brenna Tubeville and Ruby McCasland each scored six points apiece for the Lady Bulldogs.

Jaci Caplinger led the Brahmas with four points.

 

New Boston, Redwater split

REDWATER, Texas - Redwater edged New Boston in their eighth-grade game, 18-17.

New Boston defeated Redwater in the seventh-grade game, 18-17.

 

L-E falls to Paris

TEXARKANA, Texas - Liberty-Eylau fell to Paris in the first eighth-grade game, 36-28.

Haven Johnson and Lakia Howard each chipped in six points apiece for the Lady Leopards.

Paris defeated L-E in the second eighth-grade game, 23-0.

The Leopards fell to the Lady Wildcats in the first seventh-grade game, 43-16.

Brooklyn Garner led L-E with 12 points.

Paris defeated L-E in the second seventh-grade game, 28-9.

Kendall Norman and Morgan Stanton each added four points apiece for the Leopards.
