ROUND ROCK, Texas - Redwater junior Sydney Hornbuckle placed 12th in the Class 3A state cross country meet at Old Settlers Park on Saturday.
Hornbuckle finished with a 12:09, which set a new school record. She has progressively improved over the years.
Hornbuckle finished 52nd as a freshman and 24th as a sophomore at the state meet.
