#TXKpreps | Pleasant Grove handles Lady Bears in three straight sets

TEXARKANA, Texas - It didn't take long to go from warm to hot.

After a bit of an auspicious start, Pleasant Grove swept DeKalb, 25-19, 25-12, 25-10, in a varsity volleyball match on Tuesday at Hawk Gym.

"I told the girls that we can't go out with any team and not show up," Lady Hawks head coach Amy Collvins. "During the first eight points, seven of them resulted from our errors. My philosophy is that we earn our points. We also don't want to give free ones away. We've been trying to clean things up for the last two weeks and hopefully, we get better. I thought our communication was really good."
