NAPLES-OMAHA, Texas - Running backs Kadrien Johnson and La-Jathan Allen scored a pair of touchdowns apiece to lead unbeaten Paul Pewitt to a 46-0 win over winless Redwater Friday night.
Johnson carried the ball only four times to finish with 105 yards rushing. He scored on runs of 6 and 25 yards. He added a third touchdown on a 6-yard pass from Cross Holder.
Allen had five carries for 94 yards, which included TD runs of 37 and 2 yards. The Brahmas rolled up 369 yards on the ground.
Pewitt led 21-0 after the first quarter and tacked on 19 more to take a 40-0 cushion into halftime.
Keiuntray Hawkins score on a 3-yard run and Deiontray Hill on a 32-yard run for the 3-0 Brahmas.
Redwater had 122 yards total offense, with 104 on the ground. The Dragons, who have allowed an average of 52.6 points in three losses this year, were led by Preston Davis with 53 yards rushing and 18 yards passing. John Collier added 28 yards rushing.
Pewitt plays host to Waskom next Friday.
Maud 34, Tom Bean 26
TOM BEAN, Texas - Rayne Bailey scored three touchdowns for Maud on runs of 2, 1, and 5 yards to lead the Cardinals over Tom Bean, 34-26.
Bailey also scored a 2-point conversion for the Cardinals.
Tucker Sanders scored on runs of 20 and 5 yards for Maud. Sanders also converted a 2-point conversion for the Cardinals.
