Groundhog hits NASCAR track, clocked at 4.9 mph

Road hog!
Practice runs for a NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Michigan International Speedway were delayed 10 minutes while track workers corralled a groundhog that ran onto the track and released it in some nearby acreage.
Fox Sports 1, caught up in the euphoria, reported that the critter's top-end speed reached 4.9 mph.
