Twins survive for 6-5 win over Texas Marshals

PLANO, Texas-A two-run double by Johnny Gonzalez climaxed a four-run rally by the Texarkana Friday night, and the Twins survived for a 6-5 victory over the Texas Marshals.
Billy Fogle relieved starter Blaze Hastings in the sixth and got the win. Reliever Brandon Saddler was the loser.
The Twins' Gunner Halter had a pinch-hit single, scoring one run in the seventh, and Alex Rodriguez drove in another with a sacrifice fly. Rodriguez had tripled in the first,
but was stranded.
Blake Porter led the Twins (7-8) with two hits. Halter also had two hits, staying in the game to play third in the eighth and ninth. Saddler, Conner Scruggs, Phillip Kinsa and Brandon Talley had two hits each for the Marshals (4-11).
The two teams play again tonight.
