Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette was involved in a "minor accident" Tuesday morning while driving in Jacksonville, Fla., a team official announced on Twitter.
The incident was a three-vehicle crash near the Dames Point Bridge, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed to local television station WJXT. Fournette's car was rear-ended. He was not hurt and "was able to drive home," according to the official's tweet.
The "chain-reaction crash" occurred on Interstate 295 about 20 minutes before noon. A Patrol sergeant told WJXT that Fournette was not at fault.
Fournette suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter of the Jaguars' 45-42 divisional round win over the Steelers in Pittsburgh this past weekend. He later returned to the game and finished with a game-high 109 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
