A former Bandit is coming back to Texarkana.

Patrick Maroon, who played his first NAHL season for the Texarkana Bandits during the 2005-06 campaign, will be in town to sign free autographs from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday in the VIP room at the Four States Fairgrounds in Texarkana, Ark.

During his time in Texarkana, the then-17-year-old capped off his season with 60 points in 57 games and was named to the NAHL's All-Rookie Team.

Maroon's 23 points in 2007, after the team left Texarkana and moved to St. Louis, still holds as the NAHL record for most points in a single postseason.

He has since moved to the NHL and recently won the Stanley Cup, where his hometown St. Louis Blues defeated the Boston Bruins in seven games - a victory that may not have been possible without his Game 7 heroics against the Dallas Stars when he scored in double overtime to seal the series.

Maroon played in 74 games this past season with the Blues and scored 10 goals and had 18 assists for 28 points. Before St. Louis, he played for Anaheim, Edmonton and New Jersey.
