Cade Norris earned the win, struck out five and pitched a shutout as Pleasant Grove's freshmen defeated Arkansas High's junior varsity, 8-0 on Monday at Hog Field.
Norris added a pair of singles, while teammates Haden Koller and Jaxson Cartright each smacked two doubles. Tucker Anderson and Kason Head each doubled for the Hawks.
Head and Will Taylor each smacked a double for Pleasant Grove's freshmen, but they lost to Hooks' junior varsity, 12-5, on Saturday. Alex Murphy and Anderson each went 1 for 3 for the Hawks.
