Liberty-Eylau High School standout football player Talveyion Cooper signed his letter of intent to play for Oklahoma Panhandle State University.

Cooper was a two-year varsity letterman for the Leopards and graduated in May. Cooper will play quarterback and wide receiver for the Aggies.

"They offered Talveyion a full ride the day after he graduated from high school to come and play for them," Leopards coach Marlon Byrdsong said. "Oklahoma Panhandle University is getting a gem in Talveyion. He is a very smart player and has a lot of upside.

"Whether they play him at quarterback or receiver, they are getting a complete football player. He has size, a great skill set and football savviness. We had a total of seven seniors that signed to play college football. We could not be happier for Talveyion and this special senior class."

Talveyion is the son of Shenell and Dewayne Carson and Charles Stuart.
