THS summer camps

Texas High will host a variety of summer athletic camps beginning in mid-June with boys and girls basketball camps. To register, contact Cassidy Price at 903-793-7731 ext. 57001 or cassidy.price@txkisd.net.

Boys basketball camp will be held at Texas Middle School on June 17-18 and is open to males entering first through ninth grade. The registration fee is $50 for early registrants, and $60 for those registering the first day of camp. The sessions will be from 9 a.m.-noon for grades one through five and 1-4 p.m. for grades six throug nine.

Girls basketball camp will be held June 17-18, is open to females entering third through ninth grade and will be held at THS' Tiger Center. The registration fee is $50 for early registrants and $60 for those registering the first day of camp.

Co-ed soccer camp will be held June 19-21 at the Texas High multipurpose facility and is for incoming kindergarten through eighth grade. The registration fee is $50 for early registrants and $60 for those registering the first day of camp. There will be a 9 a.m.-noon session for grades K through four, and the 1-4 p.m. session is for grades five through eight.

Volleyball camp will be July 24-25 and July 29-30 for incoming kindergarten through ninth grade. The camp will be held at the Tiger Center and has a $30 registration fee. On July 24-25, the 9 a.m.-noon session will be for grades five through seven, and the 1-4 p.m. session will be for kindergarten through fourth grade. The July 29-30 camp is for grades eight and nine and will be from 9 a.m.-noon.

Football camp will be July 29-31 at the multipurpose facility and is open to kindergarten through ninth grader. The camp is free, and K through fifth grades will be held from 8-9:30 a.m., and grades six through nine will be from 10 a.m.-noon.



The Texarkana Golf Ranch is having a 4-ball championship on June 22-23 and is open to the public. It will be flighted after the first round and the number of flights will be determined on the number of teams. The entry fee is $150 and includes food on Saturday night.
