Texarkana Twins' Lee Thomas celebrates after scoring a run against the Brazos Valley Bombers on Wednesday, June 12 at George Dobson Field in Texarkana, Texas.

Ryne Randle lifted a single to center field, driving home Steven Bonuz with two outs in the 12th inning to give the Texarkana Twins a 4-3 victory Thursday at George Dobson Field.

The Twins' win was the second straight over previously-unbeaten Brazos Valley (10-2) to sweep the home series. Texarkana (7-4) plays a two-game series at the Bombers starting today.

Bonuz had beat an infield hit to lead off the 12th for the Twins, was bunted to second and Randle slapped the first pitch he saw into shallow center for the game-winning hit.

That gave Texarkana four unanswered runs to close out the game, scoring three in the seventh to tie the score.

Trailing through 6 1-2 innings, the Twins broke through with a big rally in the seventh inning to tie the game.

Ryne Randle one-hopped the wall in right field for a leadoff double, and he scored as Blake Shannon painted the third base line with another stand-up double.

A walk and hit batsman loaded the bases, and Tom Litchy lined a tying single into left, plating a pair of Twins for a 3-all knot. Texarkana stranded runners at second and third to end the inning.

Through nine innings, the Twins left 12 runners on base, and Brazos Valley stranded just one on before extra innings.

Kyle Bergeron blooped a single into shallow center field to lead off the second for the Bombers, and Hunter Coleman lined a stand-up double into the left-center alley to drive in Bergeron.

A passed ball advanced Coleman, and he scored on a groundout to second. Ty Coleman's ground ball single ricocheted off Texarkana starter Matt Sesler's lower leg, which prompted a pitching change.

Credeur got a flyout, and Ty Coleman was caught stealing by Twins catcher Taylor Smith to end the inning.

Texarkana had the opportunity to tie the game in the bottom of the second, loading the bases with one out. A fielder's choice cut down the runner at the plate, and a strikeout left the bases juiced and preserved the Bombers' 2-0 lead.

Hunter Coleman smashed a 1-1 offering over the wall in left-center for a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning for Brazos Valley.

In the top of the 10th, Chase Kemp roped a two-out double for the Bombers, and after a walk and pitching change, a strikeout left both baserunners on to end the inning.

Matt Kissamis singled to center in the bottom of the 11th with two outs. A wild pitch moved him up, but a groundout to first left Kissamis at second to end the frame.

Logan Sartois legged out an infield single to lead off the 11th for Brazos Valley but never got past second.

Lee Thomas worked his third walk of the game with one out in the bottom of the 11th, and Litchy singled to right with two out to put runners on the corners. A flyout ended the threat.

Mike McElmeel earned the pitching win as the third reliever for the Twins, which ended up stranding 15 on during the game. McElmeel threw 32 pitches in 2 1-3 innings with four strikeouts and allowing three hits.

Bonuz was 3 for 6 in the game, Litchy was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI, and Reese Durand and Randle added a pair of hits each.

Texarkana is back home June 20 against Acadiana.
