The department recently got the two police dogs to join their staff. The department’s last police dog was retired about a year before these arrived. Kragen, one of the new dogs, found a loaded pistol, meth and pot during a traffic stop June 21, his first day on the job.

Two Mineral Springs, Ark., bank robbery suspects will have a court appearance Wednesday in the Howard County Circuit Court in Nashville, Ark., to inform them of the bank robbery charges, said Sheriff Bryan McJunkins.
The suspects scheduled to be in court will be Tatyana McBee, 18, and Byron Coleman, 30, both from Tulsa, Okla. Two more suspects have been arrested, but remain in Tulsa.
The suspects are accused of robbing the Mineral Springs bank about 3 p.m. July 25.
The suspects allegedly entered the bank, got the money and exited the building within about two minutes.
The surveillance recordings show the robbery with the suspects leaping over the counter and filling the bags with cash from the drawers.
Clothing believed to have been worn by the rank robbers were found discarded in the Mineral Springs city park about six blocks from the bank.
"Physical evidence was also found that ties the individuals such as clothes, hats and bags," McJunkins said.
"The video surveillance did help out" he said.
Two more suspects will be extradited from Tulsa to Nashville to face charges, but McJunkins was uncertain when the suspects would be transported to the Howard County jail.
