Bond was set at $100,000 on Tuesday for a 41-year-old woman arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old Foreman High School student.

Tracie Dierks, 41, of Wallace, was not formally charged Tuesday morning as officials wait on toxicology test results.

The fatal shooting of Caitlin Caskey, an 11th-grade Foreman High School student, occurred at a home in the Wallace Community, which is halfway between Ashdown and Foreman, Ark., during a birthday party on Saturday night.

Caskey was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Roddy Smith. She was shot once in the upper body, according to reports from Ninth Judicial District Prosecutor Bryan Chesshir.

Dierks was arrested after allegedly waving and firing an AR-15 during the party, officials said.

"The gun went off in a roomful of kids," Chesshir said.
