Grant funds are available in Miller and Bowie counties under Phase 33 of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program. Miller County will have $17,938 available for grants and Bowie County will have $33,373.
Nonprofit social service agencies are invited to apply for these funds.
Applications must be submitted by noon Aug. 12.
The forms can be requested at the United Way of Greater Texarkana, 214 Spruce St., Texarkana, Texas, or by calling 903-794-3105.
A board of local representatives will review the applications.
