The Jessie Allen Wise Garden Club is looking for wagons, mule- or horse-drawn carriages and vintage cars for its 70th annual Jefferson Pilgrimage in Jefferson, Texas.
The theme of this year's event is Homecoming.
"Celebrate the beauty of spring and take a trip back to the 1860s," a news release from the city states.
The event starts with the Diamond Bessie murder trial and includes Historic Home and Garden Tours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 5-6, the Pilgrimage Parade at 10 a.m. May 6, Jay Gould Railcar Tour and the Town Skirmish, a Civil War re-enactment.
Grand marshal for the parade will be Maughan Anthony "Tony" Gould, the great-great-grandson of railroad tycoon Jay Gould.
