A Cass County Precinct 3 Litter Roundup event will be held Saturday and volunteers are needed.
Precinct 3 Commissioner Paul Cothren said plastic bags hanging in the trees or a drink carton or food wrapper scattered along the roadside take away from the community's beauty.
His plan to combat litter is enlisting volunteers to restore the natural beauty to the land, roads and community.
Volunteers from all areas of the community are needed including schools, clubs, residents, businesses and others.
