Police investigate burglary at Cossatot in Ashdown, Ark.

A suspect triggered a surveillance camera Sunday night during the burglary of the University of Arkansas Cossatot Community College campus in Ashdown, Ark.
The images from the camera may help law enforcement agencies with the investigation, Cossatot Chancellor Steve Cole said.
The staff and law enforcement officials have been taking inventory Monday of what may be missing, Cole said.
He estimated about $1,500 damage to the building by the perpetrator using a tool to pry open doors.
"There isn't anything much to steal from a college campus. We don't have money on the campus. They were pilfering around to see what was there," Cole said.
"We have confidence in campus Police Officer Jason Curtis, the Ashdown police and the sheriff's department. They will catch them," he said.
"We have several cameras and we're looking at all angles on the videos and fingerprinting," Cole said.
"The beauty of this is we have cameras that took really good color photos and gave us descriptions," he said.
"The sad part is the damage to the campus. They're damaging state buildings and that costs the people money," Cole said.
A suspect is shown on film moving the camera, and the person clicked the camera from night to day mode.
"We have a good photo in color," Cole said.
Anyone with information should contact the Ashdown police at (870) 898-5640 or the Little River County Sheriff's Department at 870-898-5115.
