NEW BOSTON, Texas-Bowie County may soon be getting the roof repaired on its Texarkana, Texas, office.
Bowie County commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. today to discuss hiring one of the roofing firm bidders, who bid last month on the job offered by the county. The building is at 601 Main St.
Commissioners will also consider appointing county residents Derrick McGary, Ardis Richardson and Wanda Looney to serve on the Bowie County Housing Authority's Board of Directors.
In other business, commissioners will consider declaring a backhoe as surplus property and seek to trade in one backhoe for another.
