ASHDOWN, ARK.-Law enforcement and school officials are meeting to determine if classes will convene on Tuesday after the high school campus was placed on lock down Monday afternoon.
The school was placed on lock down because of several students receiving threatening phone messages, according to a Facebook post.
According to a statement on the Ashdown School District's Facebook page, several students students received phone communications with the threat of violence toward the high school.
Law enforcement was on the campus and students went home at 3:25 p.m. Monday, their normal time to be released each day.
Authorities have some leads in the case.
