18-year-old, juvenile charged in Fouke horse theft

An 18-year-old Fouke man and a juvenile have been arrested on charges related to the theft of three horses, according to Miller County Sheriff's Office.

Bryson LeBlanc, 18, is charged with obstructing governmental operations and felony theft by receiving, and the juvenile is charged with theft by receiving.

About 8 a.m. May 1, deputies were called to Fouke in reference to the theft of three horses. While on scene, deputies were told that one of the horses was seen in a small field in Fouke. The other two horses were seen in the 800 block of Monster Expressway and reported to authorities about 6:30 that evening. All three were released to the owner when found.

Miller County Deputy Stephen Ward arrested 18-year-old Bryson LeBlanc of Fouke about 11 that night on a charge of obstructing governmental operations during the investigation.

Investigator Thomas Whitt of the Miller County Sheriff's Office interviewed a juvenile suspect and Bryson LeBlanc two days later. Felony theft by receiving warrants were issued for both suspects on Saturday, and the two were arrested Tuesday.

The juvenile is being held at Miller County Juvenile Detention Center, and LeBlanc is in Miller County Detention Center pending arraignment.
