Police: Man made terroristic threats against school teacher

A man has been arrested for allegedly making terroristic threats against a teacher at De Queen Junior High School.

Police responded Wednesday morning to the school and were able to locate the suspect and obtain a warrant for his arrest, according to a statement from The De Queen Police Department.

The suspect was initially in custody in Bentonville, Ark., and has been extradited back to Sevier County to face the terroristic threatening charge.

Police Chief Scott Simmons said the alleged threat is a domestic situation.

Sevier County Sheriff's Office and Arkansas State Police assisted in the investigation.
