Commissioners Court to meet

The Bowie County Commissioners Court will meet at 10 a.m. today to discuss refinancing road equipment for Precinct 4. The equipment includes two GMC dump trucks.
Commissioners also will consider re-approving a $17,925 contract between the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office and the Corps of Engineers for additional patrols around Wright Patman Lake between May and September.
In other business, the court will consider declaring more than $87,300 worth of county property as surplus and ready for sale.
The property includes a laser printer, nine laptop computers, nine desktop computers, electric dryer, three air conditioners, ice maker, executive desk, ballistic vest, side panel vest and 15 observation monitors.
