Music in the Park

Clancey Ferguson and the Ragtags are the final installment of the 2013 summer Music in the Park series at Historic Washington State Park at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The concert is free, and seating will be lawn chairs.

"Anyone that has heard of Mountain View, Ark., knows there are more musicians, and good ones, per square inch than just about anywhere. At the top of that list, you will find a consistent name-Clancey Ferguson," said Patricia Thomas, sales director of the Historic Washington State Park.

At only 15 years of age, she plays more gigs and jams with more notable artists than most seasoned veteran pickers, Thomas said.

She has been playing since she was 5 and plays several instruments, with the fiddle as her primary instrument.

Her current group, Clancey Ferguson and the Ragtags, is composed of Dylan Barber on guitar, Gresham McMillon on the dog house bass, Kai Perry playing mandolin, Tiffany Turner on banjo and Clancey on fiddle.
