Old Washington market will open Saturday

WASHINGTON, Ark.-The Old Washington Farmers' Market will open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Come out early to get your first picks of produce for it will go fast. Be sure to also sign up for the giveaway basket. You don't have to be present to win.

The market will be serving blackberry sorbet. The blackberries are from the market, and a recipe will be available to those who would like to try it at home.

The market is behind Washington City Hall across from Williams' Tavern Restaurant in Washington. Come out and support your local farmers and get locally grown produce.
