De QUEEN, Ark.-The 38th Annual Sevier County Senior Appreciation Day will be Friday on the courthouse lawn.
The theme is "Super-Heroes, Super-Health." Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The event begins at 9 a.m. and usually runs until 1 or 1:30 p.m. There will be about 32 vendors, said Sevier County Judge Greg Ray.
Local band Argenbright will provide the entertainment.
Pilgrim's Poultry will provide a chicken lunch, and the senior center will provide side dishes.
There will also be door prizes, and prizes for the oldest man, oldest woman and longest marriage contests as well,
The event honors senior adults 55 and older.
