Little Caesars to get new look

Little Caesars on Texas Boulevard is about to get a new look.

One of a cluster of Little Caesars in town, this one has served Texarkana for a decade. Shut down since Monday, it is in the middle of a remodeling and retraining that will step up the service it offers to customers.

"This is the first time this Little Caesars has been remodeled," said Shane Green, regional director and director of training for Little Caesers, overseeing the process.

"We want all of our stores to be brought up to this look," he added.

Besides the new look, this process involves a complete retooling of the kitchen. After it is completed, customers can look forward to a new pizza dough process.

"We will be able to produce a better quality dough when we are done," said Green. "It will be more consistent and will result in better
pizza."

In addition, new staff is being hired and the whole crew, both new and veteran, will be going through a training process for the new facilities.

"Our crew will not only be brought up to speed on the new equipment, we will be doing customer relations training," Green said. "During this process, we take three to four days to do a complete remodeling, to give an older store a modern look."

Little Caesars is slated to reopen Thursday.

"We plan a ribbon cutting with the Chamber of Commerce," said Green. "Also, we plan on some other special things to mark the occasion. We want everyone to come back, to check out the new look, try the new pizza and the new Little Caesars experience."
