Traditions Bridal and Formal on Summerhill Square has reopened after a remodeling intended to bring modernization and new style to Texarkana.
"The remodeling took place in early May," said store manager Lauren Willis. "Our new facilities will offer new dress lines, among other things. The official reopening was delayed so we could sort out the new space and new merchandise. Also, the new space expands the services we offer."
The new offerings offered post-remodeling include an expanded homecoming and prom dress line. Also, they have more expanded services dedicated to a variety of modern tastes and budgets.
"We always greet customers and do our best to find out what they need," Willis said. "And they aren't sure what they need, we find out how they are thinking and guide them to a desired result, using our knowledge, experience and our product lines."
Traditions Bridal and Formal has a long tradition as an established boutique business in Texarkana, having served the city's formal wear needs for over 40 years. In that time, they have figured out just how to assist a customer who needs a guiding hand through the world of formal wear.
"We try to make sure that the world of formal apparel isn't so bewildering," said Willis. "It can be disorienting to walk into a store like ours and see the options available if you aren't sure where you want to go with it. A customer may at first not know exactly what they need. It is our job to find out and we have a long tradition of service doing just that."
Traditions Bridal and Formal on Summerhill Square is now under the ownership of Brad and Ashley Carlow. They are open Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are located at 4038 Summerhill Square. Call 903-793-1570.
