Texarkana's Christmas Parade starts at 7 p.m. tonight on the usual downtown parade route.
The parade was originally scheduled for Monday night, but it was postponed because of a forecast 80 percent chance of rain, officials at Main Street Texarkana said.
According to a statement from Main Street Texarkana "We understand that this conflicts with other events in the community but hope that as many who can still participate will. We appreciate each and every one of you who have prepared a float or planned to bring your family downtown, and who have been watching the weather with us in anticipation."
